KENNEDY LEGLER III

Mr. Legler graduated with a B.A. from Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio. He received his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law. Mr. Legler has served as a director of the Manatee County Bar Association and is an eagle member of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers.

Mr. Legler has extensive trial experience in personal injury cases and has served as chairman on numerous arbitration committees that award damages to those severely injured. He is a member of the Florida, Ohio, and New York Bars.

Mr. Legler recently joined the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America (APITLAmerica). This national organization of committed lawyers helps eliminate unsafe and illegal interstate trucking practices Mr. Legler hopes to bring about change by educating the general public, students, legislators, truck drivers and juries about the hard facts surrounding trucking practices and procedures.

He was also honored by being selected as a member of the Manatee County Inns of Court. Mr. Legler is a long standing member of the American Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Trial Advocacy Society.

Mr. Legler served also as the past president of the American Heart Association, and former vice president and board member of Saint Stephens School. He is also a past director for a now nationwide bank.

THOMAS P. FLYNN

THOMAS P. FLYNN

Mr. Flynn graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a B.A. and a M.A. in Communications. He earned his J.D. from the University of Dayton. Tom and his wife Gayle have been married for 37 years.

Mr. Flynn is a past president of the Manatee County Bar Association and is a member of the Florida, Ohio, and Federal Bars. Mr. Flynn is listed among the most recognized attorneys in the International Whose Who Professional Directory. Mr. Flynn too has extensive personal injury trial experience.

He also is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and is a former eagle member of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. Mr. Flynn was past chairman of the district ethics committee for the Florida Bar Association.

Mr. Flynn has serverd as president of the Parish Council of St. Joseph Catholic Church, former director of the Little League Board, past president of Manatee SOLVE, and legal advisor for the Mock Trial team at Bradenton Christian High School.


ALYSON NASREY

ALYSON NASREY

Ms. Nasrey is a Loyola University graduate who earned her J.D. from Barry University, graduating in the top third of her class. While attending law school, Ms. Nasrey spent time as a Legal research and Writing Teaching Assistant.

Ms. Nasrey acquired practical experience while in law school by clerking for several Orlando area law firms gaining experience in Probate, Estate Planning, Wills & Trusts, Construction Law, General Civil Litigation.

Throughout law school Ms. Nasrey remained an active member of the Internal Revenue Service’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, offering free tax preparation and assistance to lower
income individuals and families.

Ms. Nasrey joined the law firm of Legler and Flynn in the fall of 2008 and is an active member of the Florida Bar Association. Ms. Nasrey's current focus is on representing clients in the field of Workers' Compensation
.

EDWARD MURPHY

EDWARD MURPHY

Mr. Murphy earned his B.S. from Florida State University. He received his J.D. from Mercer University School of Law in Georgia. Mr. Murphy was admitted to both the Florida and Georgia Bars in 1995.

His experience includes internship work with the Office of the State Attorney, Second Judicial Circuit of Florida and Gulf Coast Legal Services.

Mr. Murphy is a member of the Florida Bar, Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers & the Manatee County Bar. He has represented injured workers for 15 years
.


GEORGE BENJAMIN

GEORGE BENJAMIN

Mr. Benjamin is one of our Legal Assistants. He serves as our primary representative in social security disability cases and is the chief investigator for the firm. He has been successfully representing social security claimants for over 15 years, winning over 90% of his cases. He is one of the most knowledgeable social security experts in the area.

Mr. Benjamin also holds certifications as a Building Inspector, Plans Examiner and Fire Inspector and is president of Safety Trends, Inc., a hazard evaluation consulting firm. Mr. Benjamin also holds a B.A. degree from the University of South Florida.
